Morgan Stanley among first banks to tokenise stocks and Treasurys via DTCC
Morgan Stanley says it has tokenised US equities and Treasurys using the DTCC's new tokenisation service, which went live last week with 20 participants including Bank of America, Citi, JPMorgan and UBS. The service initially runs on Canton and a private Besu network. The bank now expects to support tokenised equities on its alternative trading system in the first quarter of 2027, later than its earlier second-half 2026 goal.
