BitGo launches Global Markets unit for institutional trading and financing
Custodian BitGo has launched BitGo Global Markets, an institutional division offering spot and OTC liquidity, crypto-backed lending, options, swaps, structured products and managed strategies, with its existing Prime service folded in. The unit is led by former NYDIG executive Pete Janney and follows BitGo's August purchase of NYDIG's institutional trading business, which brought about 30 staff across.
