Kenyan fintech Yiksi wins FSCA crypto licence for South African unit
Nairobi-based Yiksi says its local subsidiary, Yiksi Fintech (Pty) Ltd, has been authorised by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority as a Category I financial services provider for crypto assets. The firm, founded by Bile Ahmed Kabah, offers a consumer app, wallet and merchant payments product, and joins the growing list of crypto asset service providers licensed under South Africa's FAIS regime.
