Zcash Community Grants withdraws plan to shift about 98,000 ZEC to miners
Zcash Community Grants said on 3 November it would not proceed with a 29 October proposal that would have redirected roughly 98,000 ZEC, partly from its treasury and partly from future funding, into the Network Sustainability Mechanism for later mining rewards. The committee, which receives 8% of new ZEC issuance, faced community pushback, and rival funding proposals from prominent Zcash developers remain unadopted.
