Anchorage Digital applies to register a CFTC swap dealer for bitcoin and ether options
Anchorage Digital has applied through the National Futures Association to register a new entity, Anchorage Digital Swap Dealer LLC, with the CFTC. If approved, it would offer institutional clients European-style bitcoin and ether options with maturities of up to a year, facing a registered counterparty. The company gave no timeline for the review. Its bank arm holds a federal charter supervised by the OCC.
