Crypto super PAC Fairshake takes costly hit as Sherrod Brown wins Ohio
Fairshake spent roughly $56 million opposing Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio, about a third of its $154 million ad budget this year, yet Brown won by close to five points. Its $10 million push against Juliana Stratton in Illinois also failed, though it backed Republican Pete Ricketts' win in Nebraska. Pro-crypto Republicans Bryan Steil and Bill Huizenga lost their House seats. Stand With Crypto counted 19 supportive senators and 226 supportive House members elected, and Fairshake says it holds $56 million for the next cycle.
