Riot Platforms leases entire Corsicana campus to Anthropic in $28 billion AI deal
Bitcoin miner Riot Platforms has signed a 15-year lease giving Anthropic 910 MW of capacity at its Corsicana, Texas site, with contract value put at about $28 billion and average yearly rent near $1.8 billion. Riot's quarterly filing shows Anthropic can claw back eligible build costs through rent deductions carrying 12% annual interest. The project is estimated at about $5.5 billion, mostly debt-financed, with first capacity due in June 2027. Riot sold 20,264 BTC in the first nine months of 2026.
