Samsung Wallet switches on USDC accounts on Solana for US Galaxy users
Samsung Wallet's stablecoin account went live on Thursday for eligible US Galaxy owners, letting them buy, hold, send and receive Circle's USDC on the Solana network. Bastion runs the accounts and transfer rails, with Coinbase Prime Vault acting as sub-custodian. Around 82 million US devices are compatible; users must be 18 or older and on Android 13 or later, and New York residents are excluded. The feature was first announced on 7 October with a late-October target.
