US crypto ETFs shed over $540 million as liquidations pass $1.2 billion
US spot crypto ETFs lost more than $540 million in net outflows on 5 November, including about $430 million from bitcoin funds led by Fidelity's FBTC (about $200 million) and BlackRock's IBIT ($105 million), taking the week's outflows above $1.1 billion. More than $1.27 billion in leveraged positions were liquidated in 24 hours, mostly longs. Bitcoin traded near $76,000 after the Nasdaq's 5.5% drop, its worst day since April 2025, as markets weighed the Democratic midterm sweep and AI spending worries ahead of US jobs data.
