Gnosis Pay discloses customer data breach in legacy debit card system
Gnosis Pay said an intruder accessed the legacy system behind its branded debit cards on 3 November, exposing some customer information. The company says it contained the breach within two hours, rotated credentials and fixed the flaw, and that no customer funds or its white-label enterprise platform were affected. 3D Secure checks are now mandatory for online card payments until the old system is shut down on 20 December.
