Nubank, Mercado Pago and Coincheck pause crypto transfers over outside-provider failures
Nubank suspended crypto deposits and withdrawals to external wallets in Brazil on 6 November, blaming a problem at an unnamed outside transaction-verification provider, and said customer assets and data remain protected. Mercado Pago blocked some external transfers as a precaution after an incident at a compliance-screening supplier. Japan's Coincheck halted withdrawals a day earlier citing an outage at an on-chain analytics service. Some outlets note the timing matches Chainalysis's KYT shutdown after its breach, but none of the companies has confirmed a link.
